Auto doors and lockers are a bit of a fad these days, with new technology being used to make them safer and more secure.
In the past, people would need to remove the door lock and remove the sliding door to activate the lock, but with SENSORS, that’s no longer necessary.
This week, the technology was showcased at SIGGRAPH and SIGSAFE, where the company is showcasing a new automatic door actuators that are designed to automatically switch the door to open or close automatically with just a press of a button.
The actuators use an infrared sensor to measure the electrical resistance of the door itself and use this information to decide whether or not to open the door automatically, based on a variety of sensors including temperature, humidity, and light.
The system can be used for door locks, doors, and more, so this isn’t just a new concept.
Rather, SENSors is a direct response to advances in artificial intelligence, and it shows just how smart technology is coming along.
In other words, it’s making doors and locks more reliable and safer.
It’s also showing that we need to be more aware of our surroundings in order to ensure that we can use our devices safely and effectively.
